Reconstructing Infrastructure and Community

0 $The Syrian Development Fund places the reconstruction and infrastructure sector at the core of its priorities, considering it the fundamental pillar for building a modern and stable state. No society emerging from crises and wars can begin recovery without a comprehensive plan to rehabilitate infrastructure, institutions, and public services, in order to provide a stable economic and social environment. Integrated projects will be implemented to establish a strong urban foundation that supports the continuity of economic and social activities and revives cities and villages affected by war. This will begin with the removal of debris, rubble, and remains of destroyed buildings and war remnants, in preparation for creating the necessary environment for reconstruction. Special focus will be given to rehabilitating essential facilities by constructing bridges and opening new roads that connect remote villages with cities to ensure ease of commercial movement and lighting them, in addition to implementing projects aimed at providing safe housing for families affected by the war. Since infrastructure forms the basis for all development sectors, the Fund works on mobilizing financial resources and technical expertise to accelerate the reconstruction process through effective partnerships with governments, the private sector, and international organizations to implement high-quality projects that meet the state's current needs and support it in the future. The Fund’s future plans focus on a set of priorities that contribute to enhancing the sector’s performance and include:
